Genesis 5 Year Care Program

1. What does the Genesis Care Plan consist of?

It consists of complimentary services that owners will enjoy during the first five years of the ownership. Complimentary services stay with the vehicle and can transfer between owners.

- Manufacturer warranty
- Scheduled servicing
- Roadside assistance
- Collection and delivery for scheduled servicing and warranty
- Courtesy car during scheduled servicing and warranty
- Navigation maps update
- Genesis Connected Services subscription

2. What Does Genesis Warranty Cover?

Genesis vehicles are covered with a warranty of first 60 months and unlimited mileage, with the following exceptions:

- Battery – 24 months
- Audio / Multimedia – 36 months
- Anti perforation – 144 months
- Tyres – varies by tyre manufacturer

3. What is included with the Genesis Care Plan scheduled servicing?

The Genesis Care Plan includes all scheduled servicing work (parts and labour), as reflected in the owner’s manual/maintenance schedule during the first 5 years or 50,000 miles, whatever comes first, according to the terms and conditions of the Genesis Care Plan, warranty or service/recall campaigns works.

- Oil Change (oil and filter)
- Replacement of air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, pollen filter, e-call battery and brake fluid
- Two sets of wiper blades
- All mandatory inspections

4. When can I request the free collection and delivery service?

Collection and delivery is free of charge only when the work is related to scheduled servicing, according to the terms and conditions of the Genesis Care Plan, warranty or service/recall campaigns works.

5. Does Genesis always provide me with a free of charge courtesy car when the car is at the Genesis Operating Centre?

Genesis provides a courtesy car only when the vehicle comes to the Genesis Operating Centre for scheduled servicing according to the terms and conditions of the Genesis Care Plan, warranty or service/recall campaigns work.

6. Can I use the Genesis Care Plan at a non-Genesis service centre?

No, the Genesis Care Plan is provided for vehicles serviced at a Genesis Operating Centre.

7. How many times per year can I have the navigation maps updated within the Genesis Care Plan?

Navigation maps can be updated up to twice per year. The updates can be carried out as part of a scheduled service. It is also possible for a customer to complete the update by downloading the data onto a memory stick and plugging into the vehicle. For more information please speak to your Genesis Personal Assistant.

8. If I move to another country, is the Genesis Care Plan still valid?

If you move permanently to a country, where the Genesis brand operates, the Genesis Care Plan can be fulfilled. To discuss this please contact your Genesis Personal Assistant.

9. When are replacement vehicles provided?

A courtesy car will be provided upon collection of your vehicle.

Servicing and Service Network

1. How do I find my nearest Genesis Operating Centre?

There is no need to find us - we come to you. Genesis provides a collection and delivery service on a covered transporter from a place convenient to you. A courtesy car is also provided should you need one.

2. How can I book a service?

You can book a service appointment by contacting your Genesis Personal Assistant.

3. I have a flat tyre and want to have it replaced by Genesis. What should I do?

Call Genesis Roadside Assistance on:

5. What is the fuel consumption of my car?

You can access technical documentation relating to your car on our website.

6. What is the process for attaching my private number plate to the vehicle?

Please refer to the DVLA website for details.

7. Does Genesis offer an extended Genesis warranty?

No, Genesis does not currently offer extended warranty.

1. What is the warranty period for parts and accessories?

Genesis genuine parts and accessories come with a two year warranty.

2. I would like to buy some floor mats, however, Genesis Studios are a long distance away from me. Is it possible to send it by post to me?

Yes, Genesis can send you a set of floor mats to your preferred address.

Insurance

1. Can Genesis insure my car?

Yes, Genesis offer Genesis Insurance. Unlike many policies, in the event of an accident this specialist insurance guarantees a Genesis approved repair service using only genuine parts to keep your Genesis 100% Genesis.

3. How do I get free Driveaway Insurance and a free Excess Return Voucher?

Complimentary Driveaway Insurance covers you from the moment you receive your new Genesis until midnight the following day. It also comes with a free one-year Excess Return voucher which can save you up to £250* if you ever need to make a motor insurance claim. 

We’ll send you a link to register prior to your new car being delivered.

You’ll then have the option to upgrade your temporary cover to a full 12-month policy with a competitive quote for Genesis Insurance.

4. How do I manage my Genesis Insurance policy?

You can access all your documents in your portal, and make basic changes, such as changing your address or vehicle, or adding other permanent drivers. To change anything else or to speak to someone about your policy, give us a call on 0330 818 0492.
