DRIVING SAFETY
INTELLIGENT FRONT-LIGHTING SYSTEM
The Intelligent Front-Lighting System (IFS) allows you drive with high beam on without the risk of dazzling oncoming traffic. The headlights' LEDs have individual electronic controls which are automatically turned up or dimmed down as required.
FOR DRIVER/FRONT PASSENGER
10-AIRBAG SYSTEM
A total of ten airbags protect all the vehicle's occupants. The driver and front passenger seats have advanced airbags that detect the severity of a collision and whether there is a passenger present to control deployment. There are side and curtain airbags for both the front and rear and a driver's knee airbag.

FORWARD COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (FCA, JUNCTION TURNING)
The G70 Shooting Brake warns and automatically assists in braking if there is a risk of a front-end collision. Braking assistance is also applied when a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected when turning at an intersection.

BLIND-SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (BCA)
When making a lane change or leaving a parking space, the BCA will alert you if it detects an imminent rear collision. If necessary, after the warning, it will apply emergency braking to prevent a collision.

REAR CROSS-TRAFFIC COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (RCCA)
When reversing, RCCA will warn of approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle. If necessary, after the warning, it will apply emergency braking to prevent a collision.

NAVIGATION-BASED SMART CRUISE CONTROL (NSCC)
When using smart cruise control, the G70 Shooting Brake uses navigation data to see if there are any tight bends coming up. If it detects any, it will automatically decelerate to a safe speed then re-accelerate once the corner has been passed.

HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST (HDA)
On motorways, HDA combines data from navigation, camera and radar sensors to help the driver by controlling driving speed, maintaining distance from other vehicles and preventing the car from moving out of its lane.
DRIVING CONVENIENCE / SAFE PARKING

SAFE EXIT WARNING (SEW)
When a passenger opens a door to get out of the car, the SEW sounds an alert if it detects traffic from behind.

REAR GUIDE LAMP
When the vehicle is reversing, an LED rear guide light projects onto the road to alert other vehicles and pedestrians and help prevent accidents.

SURROUND VIEW MONITOR (SVM)
For safer and easier parking, the Surround View Monitor provides 360 degree real-time views outside the vehicle.
