DRIVING SAFETY
INTELLIGENT FRONT-LIGHTING SYSTEM
The Intelligent Front-Lighting System (IFS) allows the driver to travel in the vehicle with a high beam without the risk of glaring oncoming traffic or any preceding vehicles. This function is achieved using LEDs with individual electronic controls which are turned up or dimmed down as required.
FOR DRIVER/FRONT PASSENGER
10-AIRBAG SYSTEM
Centre side airbags have been implemented in the front seats to prevent injuries that may arise in side collisions. A total of ten airbags further protect all vehicle occupants. This includes advanced airbags for the driver and front passenger seats that detect the presence of a passenger and the severity of a collision to control deployment, as well as side and curtain airbags for both the front and rear, and a driver's knee airbag.

FORWARD COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (FCA, JUNCTION TURNING)
The G70 warns and automatically assists in braking if the preceding vehicle suddenly slows or if there is a high risk of a front-end collision. Braking assistance is also applied when a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected when turning left at an intersection.

BLIND-SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (BCA)
BCA detects vehicles in your blind spot. If the BCA detects something, it will alert you and help avoid a collision. When parallel parking, it will automatically control the vehicles brakes to minimise the risk.

REAR CROSS-TRAFFIC COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (RCCA)
RCCA warns the driver of approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle during reverse manoeuvres. Even after the warning, if necessary, it applies emergency braking to prevent a collision.

HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST (HDA)
Based on the distance from a leading vehicle on motorways, and utilizing lane information and navigation data, the HDA assists the driver to control the driving speed, to maintain distance from other vehicles, and to prevent the vehicle from moving out of its lane.
DRIVING CONVENIENCE / SAFE PARKING

SAFE EXIT WARNING (SEW)
The feature sounds an alert when traffic is detected from behind when a passenger opens a door to exit from the vehicle.

REAR GUIDE LAMP
When the vehicle is backing up, the LED rear guide lamp projects light onto the road, alarming other vehicles and pedestrians to prevent accidents.

SURROUND VIEW MONITOR (SVM)
The Surround View Monitor provides real-time surrounding views of the vehicle for safer parking.
