The Genesis Scottish Open, held in Scotland — the birthplace of golf — marks a milestone as the first co-sanctioned event between the PGA TOUR and the DP World Tour.
In 2025, Genesis announced the extension of its title sponsorship through 2030.
The Renaissance Club, located on Scotland's eastern coast, embodies the distinctive characteristics of a links course—featuring the region's signature wind conditions and unpredictable weather. It is widely recognized as the ideal proving ground ahead of The Open Championship, attracting the world's top players.
As part of the prestigious Rolex Series on the DP World Tour, the Genesis Scottish Open showcases world class competition.

Spectator Information

The field features world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, as well as Rory McIlroy – who claimed back-to-back Masters victories in 2025 and 2026 – and Jon Rahm, returning to a PGA Tour co-sanctioned tournament for the first time in four years following his 2023 LIV Golf transition.
Korean representatives include Jeong-hwan Lee, the defending 2025 Genesis Championship winner making his third consecutive appearance, along with top KPGA Tour players Choi Seung-bin, Genesis Points leader Tae-hoon Ok, Baek-jun Kim, world No. 19 (as of June 2026) Kim Si-woo, and consistent performer Im Sung-jae.
The newly redesigned 15th hole, rebuilt in a stadium layout, will create a vibrant atmosphere for fans alongside a range of Genesis experiences and programs.
