Sporty and serious all at once, G80 has ramped-up power and intelligent tech under the hood to elevate your expectations.
This system automatically senses the driving conditions to proactively balance power between the front and rear wheels and ensure stability at all times.

G80 can automatically control the damping force of the suspension to control movement. The control is based on road conditions identified via the front end camera and information from the GPS navigation. It also detects and reacts to road conditions, such as speed bumps, in advance, as well as the driver’s driving tendencies to ensure a smooth and comfortable ride.

Precise and responsive, the transmission delivers power at low speeds and optimizes fuel consumption at high speeds. Control it with the paddle shifters located on the steering wheel, which allow manual shifting with just a finger.
Turn on Sport+ Mode to experience downshifting ahead of sudden braking and prevents upshift during turns. Rapid downshifting is achieved via an ETI (Engine Torque increase control).

The electronic-Limited Slip Differential (e-LSD) distributes an optimal amount of torque to the wheels and improves traction and performance when cornering and starting off. Drive with confidence knowing that the e-LSD will provide a more stable control on slippery roads and in snowy or rainy weather.

Drivers can choose between Comfort mode, which offers comfortable and stable driving; or Sport mode, which emphasizes braking capabilities.

The rear wheels rotate in the opposite direction to the front wheels during low-speed cornering while ensuring easier, swift steering.

The audio-visual navigation (AVN) and the cluster are combined to offer a 30% wider view. Reaching across the dashboard, it delivers important updates, navigation, and assistance alerts to keep your journey on track.
A perceptive handwriting recognition system allows users to control the infotainment system via touch or handwriting instead of complicated keyboard input.
This system features an air purification system that includes a fine dust sensor, engine room pre-filter, and antibacterial-treated high-performance combination filter that dramatically reduces the level of fine dust in the vehicle.
Start and drive the car without needing the key fob. Your fingerprint also lets the car know you're ready to drive, and will adjust your seat, mirrors, and other features to your personal preference.
Convenience is doubled by allowing the driver to control the air conditioner, window, and trunk lid using voice commands.
This system shows the current driving speed, key driver-assist information, and GPS information in concise and direct graphics. The high-resolution, 12″ wide display boasts clear visibility during daytime or nighttime.

Real road images are overlaid with virtual graphics that accurately display the destination and road directions. The images also provide information linked to the advanced driver-assist systems in a much more realistic manner than a normal GPS navigation, including the destination & stopover sites, smart cruise control information, and an alarm that notifies the driver when the vehicle ahead starts to move.

Designed to provide up to 20 hours of continuous recording, the Built-in-Cam 2 allows you can record the road and the surroundings, and access the video later through the navigation system. You can also view past recordings by syncing it up to your smartphone with the My Genesis app.

Passengers are protected against collisions from all directions. The 10-airbag system includes advanced airbags in the front seats, driver’s knee airbags, center side airbags in the front seats, front and rear side-curtain airbags, and curtain airbags in case of rollovers.
This system alerts the driver of approaching vehicles in the blind spot area when the driver activates the turn signals to change lanes or when the vehicle is exiting a parallel parking spot. If the risk increases even after the warning, the system helps to automatically stop the vehicle to avoid a potential collision.

This system proactively controls the high beam lights to prevent glare for oncoming drivers. It also secures the driver’s front view effectively to assist in safe nighttime driving.

While on the highway, this helps the vehicle to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front and to stay centered in its lane at a set speed, even in curved sections. It also assists in lane changes.

G80 helps you maintain a safe speed on the highway, based on the road conditions. It automatically slows down the vehicle when approaching low-speed zones or curved sections, then returns to its pre-set speed after passing these sections. The system is helpful even on ramps, as it predicts entry into a ramp and adjusts the cruising speed accordingly while on it.

The assist system helps avoid collisions with vehicles approaching the left/right when going straight at intersections.

The system assists in avoiding collisions with the preceding vehicle on the next lane when changing lanes.

The safety system will alert you when it detects a risk of collision with pedestrians and/or cyclists ahead of you on the edge of the road, and automatically assist in avoidance steering if there is space within the lane you are driving.

When reversing, these LED lights are angled to illuminate the ground behind the vehicle to notify pedestrians and other vehicles that the vehicle is reversing.
RSPA helps you find a parking space, automatically controlling the steering wheel, speed, and transmission to make your parking experience effortless. For even more convenience, it can be controlled remotely with the smart key.

This system warns the driver if a collision risk is detected from the left and right sides of the vehicle while reversing. If the risk increases even after the warning, it helps to stop the vehicle.
When leaving a parking spot at low speed, the car detects pedestrians and obstacles around the vehicle using a wide-angle camera and ultrasonic sensors. If a potential collision is detected, an alert sounds, and will apply the brakes to prevent contact.
