Should the GV80 Coupe detect a risk of collision with a vehicle from the left or right of an intersection, it chimes a warning to the driver and automatically assists in braking, helping to improve reaction time and reduce the risk of a collision.​

When reversing, GV80 Coupe is designed to detect the risk of collision with vehicles approaching from either side, warning the driver, and then automatically assisting with braking. 3

The GV80 Coupe automatically assists with braking if a risk of collision is detected when leaving a parallel parking space. Additionally, when changing lanes, it checks for vehicles in blind spots, and sends warning to the driver, as well as automatically assisting with braking to help prevent a collision if necessary.

The GV80 Coupe actively learns your driving habits and can assist in manoeuvring the vehicle to maximise safety. It is also able maintain a safe distance from the car in front, and assist in centring you in your lane while cornering.

GV80 Coupe features an array of 10 airbags, with a first-row centre side airbag to help minimise potential clashes between the driver and passengers.​

After dark, the GV80 Coupe’s intelligent front lighting system detects approaching vehicles and manipulates the high beam, partially turning off specific LEDs to ensure maximum visibility for you, as well as helping minimise the chance of startling oncoming drivers.​
