From Genesis locations the test drive lasts an hour but allow two hours for your appointment. Event test drives are 30 minutes but allow 45 minutes in total.

Frequently asked questions
Whilst you will be covered by our insurance on the test drive, there are criteria you have to meet to take a test drive.
- You need to have held a valid UK licence for at least two years
- You need to be aged between 25-74 (drivers over 75 can be accommodated on request)
- You must have no more than six points on your licence
We will require you to complete a driver’s licence check prior to confirming your booking.

At events and from the Genesis locations you can choose the retail partner and model you wish to test drive, which will be confirmed at the time of booking.
We will then be in touch to confirm that your test drive is possible or suggest the nearest alternative dates if not.
Genesis Studio test drives and test drive from events usually have a pre-defined route that we have carefully selected in advance. However, if you do have any special requests, we will do our best to accommodate these on the day.
Please arrive at your confirmed appointment time. This will leave enough time before the test drive to show you around the model and its features and to answer any questions you may have
Most (but not all) Genesis Location test drives are accompanied.
At events, it's up to you whether you think that it would be helpful to have a Genesis Driving Consultant with you to explain the controls and features.
