QUIET FROM THE GROUND UP

Noise has been reduced all round. This includes sound absorbing tyres and suspension dampers, more aerodynamic body panels, quieter electric motors and thicker, soundproof glass. ​

UV-C ON button, and a 12V/180W power socket in a storage bin in the front seat console armrest. The bin contains a smart key with the white Genesis logo and a light brown wallet.

COMFORT IS ALWAYS BY YOUR SIDE

The front armrest console is heated and the temperature can be manually adjusted. There is a convenient wireless charging pad just below and a UV-C LED light sterilising compartment inside.

The impressive 27-inch OLED display combines the instrument and infotainment systems. The screen can be divided into different sections so that the driver can effortlessly find essential information.​

With your smartphone nearby, simply touch the door handle to unlock Electrified G80. Once inside, Fingerprint Authentication on the center console lets you start and drive with just a touch.​

To afford extra room, the wheelbase is now 130mm longer, rear passengers gaining an extra 83mm of legroom and 20mm headroom. The 19-inch wheels complement the new proportions and chrome side details accentuate the sleeker body.

Power to share

The Electrified G80 has a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) pack so that you can charge other electric vehicles and electrical appliances. The pack includes an external connector that let you use a standard household plug from the exterior power port.​

This system is designed to detect potential hazards like pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. It assists the driver’s steering and will apply the brakes to help avoid incidents.​

With cameras on each corner you have a 360-degree view. This makes it easier and safer to park in (and leave) tight spaces.

Safe exit assist

If the Electrified G80 is stopped and it detects a vehicle approaching from the rear, the vehicle automatically brakes.

  • The estimated 25-minute charge from 10 to 80% is based on 800 V from ultra-fast charger (350 kW). Actual charging time may vary and is influenced by several factors, including battery temperature, condition and age, ambient temperature and the power provided by the charger. Charging time increases in cold weather and if battery temperature activates the protection technology.
