The warranty remains with the vehicle and is transferred to the new owner. If you are considering purchasing a pre-owned Genesis with remaining warranty coverage, we recommend ensuring that the vehicle has been serviced in accordance with the prescribed maintenance schedule and that all warranty conditions have been met.
Every new Genesis vehicle comes with a 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty, offering customers comprehensive reassurance as part of the Genesis ownership experience.
If you are looking for cover beyond the standard manufacturer warranty period, some Genesis Authorised Retailers may offer additional warranty options. Please contact your preferred Genesis Authorised Retailer to discuss what may be available. link
Routine maintenance operations, normal wear and tear (including brake pads, filters, wiper blades and bulbs), damage resulting from accidents, misuse, the use of unsuitable fuel, unauthorised modifications, or participation in motorsport activities are not covered by the warranty. Tyres are covered directly by their respective manufacturer.
To maintain the validity of your warranty, your vehicle must be serviced regularly in accordance with the maintenance requirements outlined in the Owner’s Manual. Please retain all service and maintenance records as proof of compliance.
Any Genesis Authorised Retailer can assess and process your warranty request. Warranty repairs will be carried out by a Genesis Authorised Retailer using approved procedures and Genuine Genesis Parts.

An end customer means a natural person, a company, or any other entity that acquires:
(i) a new Genesis vehicle from an Authorized Genesis Distributor for purposes other than resale; or
(ii) a Genesis vehicle that was originally purchased new from an Authorized Genesis Distributor by a natural person, company, or other entity for purposes other than resale.
The warranty policy may be subject to change depending on the vehicle's production date, as well as delivery and storage times. To determine the applicable terms and conditions, always refer to the warranty booklet. Furthermore, the applicable terms and conditions may vary from one country to another. Please consult the Genesis website for your country or contact your Authorized Genesis Distributor.
Vehicles used for short-term or long-term rental, or for taxi/private hire (VTC), ambulance, driving school, car-sharing, or, more generally, any vehicle used for passenger transport, are covered by a warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
