An end customer means an individual, a business, or any other entity that purchases (i) a new Genesis-brand vehicle from an Authorized Genesis Dealer for purposes other than resale, or (ii) a Genesis-brand vehicle originally purchased new from an Authorized Genesis Dealer by a natural person, a business, or any other entity for purposes other than resale.
Vehicles used for short- or long-term rentals, taxi/ride-hailing services, ambulances, driving schools, car-sharing, or, more specifically, any vehicles used for passenger transportation are covered by a 3-year or 200,000 km warranty (whichever comes first).
The warranty policy is subject to change depending on the production date as well as delivery and storage times. To review the current terms and conditions, please always refer to the warranty booklet. Additionally, the applicable terms and conditions may vary from country to country. New vehicle warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
High-voltage battery warranty (BEV, HEV and PHEV), including replacement if battery health falls below 70%.
Coverage for the vehicle’s exterior paintwork.
Protection against corrosion perforation of metal body panels.
Coverage for Genuine Genesis Parts and Accessories purchased and fitted at the customer’s expense.
Coverage for selected wear-and-tear components, including spark plugs, brake pads, filters and wiper blades.

The warranty remains with the vehicle and is transferred to the new owner. If you are considering purchasing a pre-owned Genesis with remaining warranty coverage, we recommend ensuring that the vehicle has been serviced in accordance with the prescribed maintenance schedule and that all warranty conditions have been met.
As a manufacturer, Genesis does not offer an extension to its 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty. However, some Genesis Authorised Retailers may provide their own extended warranty programmes. Please contact your preferred Genesis Authorised Retailer for further information.
Routine maintenance operations, normal wear and tear (including brake pads, filters, wiper blades and bulbs), damage resulting from accidents, misuse, the use of unsuitable fuel, unauthorised modifications, or participation in motorsport activities are not covered by the warranty. Tyres are covered directly by their respective manufacturer.
To maintain the validity of your warranty, your vehicle must be serviced regularly in accordance with the maintenance requirements outlined in the Owner’s Manual. Please retain all service and maintenance records as proof of compliance.
Any Genesis Authorised Retailer can assess and process your warranty request. Warranty repairs will be carried out by a Genesis Authorised Retailer using approved procedures and Genuine Genesis Parts.
