Genesis GV60 Magma presentation at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

Glorious Goodwood

The world-famous Goodwood Festival of Speed is a special event for Genesis, it's where we were launched. 2024 was our biggest festival yet, with the UK debut of the high performance Magma range. The dynamic debut of the GV60 Magma was crowned with the announcement that the model will enter production in 2025.

The legendary Hillclimb

The 1.16-mile hillclimb was the perfect location for the global dynamic debut of the GV60 Magma. To get the most out of the model we had none other than Genesis Brand Partner and six-time Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx behind the wheel. Also taking on the famous climb were the G80 EV Magma Concept, G70 Track Taxi Nordschleife and GV80 Coupe Concept.

Three dynamic debuts

The GV60 Magma Concept was among several vehicles within the Genesis Magma program showcased at last year’s Goodwood. Regular festivalgoers might recognise the Genesis G80 EV Magma Concept, which made its global dynamic debut on the Goodwood hillclimb in 2023. New this year was the Genesis G70 Track Taxi Nordschleife. This enhanced G70 3.3T model has been designed specifically for passenger rides at the legendary Nürburgring track in Germany. The hillclimb was the first time it was seen in action in the UK.
