The Genesis G70 warns and automatically assists in braking if it detects a vehicle in front or if there is a high risk of a front-end collision due to a stopped vehicle or sudden appearance of pedestrians/cyclists. This assistance also includes when turning across traffic at intersection.
When BCA detects an imminent collision from the backside while making a lane change or leaving a parallel-parked position, it sends an alert and, if required, assists to potentially avoid a collision through automatic brake activation.
RCCA warns the driver of approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle during reverse manoeuvres. Even after the warning, if necessary, it applies emergency braking to prevent a collision.
SEW helps prevent an occupant from exiting the vehicle while an approaching vehicle is detected in the blind spot. A warning is provided if an occupant is exiting in the path of a potential vehicle to help mitigate the chance of an accident.
