Driving or parked, passenger or pedestrian, the GV60 Magma comes equipped with an extensive range of safety features designed with you at the centre.
Safe driving
This system detects and monitors various collision risks, including vehicles or pedestrians approaching from straight ahead, vehicles coming from the left or right, and rapidly decelerating vehicles in front. It sends warning alerts to the driver and is designed to automatically assist in braking, helping to improve reaction time and reduce the risk of a collision.
When leaving a parking spot at low speed, the GV70 monitors pedestrians and obstacles around the vehicle in 360 degrees using a wide-angle camera and ultrasonic sensors. If a potential collision is detected, an alert sounds, and the system is designed to automatically assist in braking if the risk of collision increases after warning.
When the driver activates a turn signal, this system warns the driver if there is a risk of collision with a vehicle in the driver’s blind spot. If the risk increases after the initial warning, the system is designed to automatically assist in braking to help the drive avoid collision.
When reversing, this system detects collision risks from vehicles approaching from either the left or the right. It issues warning alerts to the driver and is designed to automatically assists in braking if the risk of collision increases after warning
Road Safety
This system assists in maintaining the centre of the lane while driving. Should lane markings not be detected, Lane Following Assist employs an advanced system that actively detects leading vehicles to assist with steering, helping to reduce fatigue and enhance safety.
Sculpted twin mufflers complete the sophisticated rear design of the Genesis GV70, featuring a dark chrome applied diffuser and iconic muffler-tip detailing.

Safe Surroundings
The GV60 Magma uses radar sensors to detect when babies/pets are in the rear seat and will alert the driver by displaying a warning message, as well as transmitting a warning sound, to help ensure nobody is inadvertently left behind.
A driver’s attention may occasionally wander. If you're not looking ahead, or become distracted for more than a moment, this system takes note, and is designed to send an alert to warn you.
After dark, the GV60 Magma’s Intelligent Front-lighting System, available on Signature variants, detects approaching vehicles and manipulates the high beam, partially turning off specific LEDs to ensure maximum visibility for you, as well as helping minimise the chance of startling oncoming drivers.
