The electrified GV70 automatically applies braking or adjusts steering when a collision is imminent1.

BLIND SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSISTBLIND SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST

When the system detects an imminent collision from the rear while changing lanes, it either alerts or assists in avoiding the collision through automatic brake activation. If a possible collision is detected while the vehicle is leaving a parking space from a parallel-parked position, the system assists the driver via automatic braking activation.

When the driver turns on the left or right indicator, blind spot views of the left or right side are shown on the cluster to make sure you’re clear to go2.

PARKING ASSISTANCE

REVERSE PARKING COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (PCA)REVERSE PARKING COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST (PCA)

A warning sounds if pedestrians or objects are detected while performing a parking manoeuvre. Even after the warning, if necessary, PCA will apply the emergency brakes to prevent a collision.

SAFE EXIT ASSISTSAFE EXIT ASSIST

When a passenger opens a door to exit the car and an approaching vehicle is detected arriving from behind, Safe Exist Assist will sound a warning. If a car is detected it also keeps the Electronic Child Safety Lock activated to prevent the doors from opening. In addition, if the risk of a rear side collision is determined, the door is prevented from opening even if the door open button is pressed.

When reversing, if a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle from the left or right is detected, there will be an alert. Even after warning, it automatically assists braking if the risk of a collision increases.

Your car will park for you, even in the tightest spots. Both the steering and speed are automatically controlled and can even be controlled remotely using the smart key while you’re standing out of the car.
