ENHANCED DRIVING SAFETY
This system detects and monitors various collision risks, including vehicles or pedestrians approaching from straight ahead, vehicles coming from the left or right, and rapidly decelerating vehicles in front. It sends warning alerts to the driver and is designed to automatically assist in braking or steering, helping to improve reaction time and reduce the risk of a collision.
When the driver activates a turn signal, this system warns if there is a risk of collision with a vehicle in the driver’s blind spot. If the risk increases after the initial warning, the system is designed to automatically assist in braking to help the driver avoid a collision.
The Electrified GV70 plans ahead, analysing navigation and real time data to track upcoming inclines, curves, and speed zones on highways or freeways, automatically slowing down, then accelerating back up to speed.
This automated system activates at highway speeds and monitors the distance between you and the car ahead to help maintain a safe distance. It also helps to keep you in the correct lane.
ENHANCED PARKING SAFETY
When leaving a parking spot at low speed, the Electrified GV70 monitors pedestrians and obstacles around the vehicle in 360 degrees using a wide-angle camera and ultrasonic sensors. If a potential collision is detected, an alert sound and the system is designed to automatically assist in braking if the risk of collision increases after warning.
When reversing, this system detects collision risks from vehicles approaching from either the left or the right. It issues warning alerts to the driver and is designed to automatically assist in braking if the risk of collision increases after warning.
Car-mounted cameras provide a 360º view to help you keep your eyes on your surroundings as you manoeuvre at low speeds, making parking easy.
Parking just became a breeze. With added functionality to remotely park and exit parking spaces, Remote Smart Parking Assist lets you navigate parallel, perpendicular, or diagonal parking spaces with the touch of a button.
INTUITIVE INBUILT PROTECTION
The Electrified GV70 is equipped with a comprehensive airbag system, including front, driver knee, centre and side curtain airbags, providing protection for all occupants in the event of a collision
When reverse gear is engaged, the rear LED guide lamps project light onto the road to alert surrounding vehicles and pedestrians to your path, helping prevent accidents.
This system detects the driver’s grip on the steering wheel using an electric current, ensuring a more intuitive connection. It enhances the effectiveness of advanced driver assistance systems, adding an extra layer of safety on every drive.
Crosswind Stability Control enhances high-speed stability by safely controlling the vehicle’s body when strong crosswinds occur, helping you maintain driving composure and control.
