The new 84kWh battery increases capacity by 8% for a range of 479km. With 400V and 800V ultra-fast charging architecture it takes just 19 minutes to charge from 10%-80%.
Electrically-operated charging door
For ease of use the charging port now opens and closes electrically. It can be opened from inside and outside, is heated to avoid freezing shut, and the socket itself is illuminated to help plug in when it's dark. The charging status indicator has also been updated to make it even easier to read.
Battery Conditioning System
The battery conditioning system monitors and adjusts the battery temperature to ensure optimal conditions for fast charging. It activates automatically when a fast-charging station is set as a destination or waypoint, and can also now be manually activated for better charging performance.
Outdoor vehicle-to-load
The vehicle-to-load facility is accessed via the charging port on the front grille. It supplies 3,7 kW power to charge other electric vehicles.³

i-Pedal & Smart Regenerative Braking 2.0
When the vehicle slows down, the regenerative braking system converts kinetic energy into electrical energy, recharging the battery. i-Pedal uses this to slow the car; you decelerate just by taking your foot off the accelerator rather than using your brakes.

Boost Mode
Perfect for overtaking, boost mode gives a 10-second burst of maximum performance, taking you from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. Press the boost button with your right thumb and fully depress the accelerator pedal to unlock full power, torque and acceleration.

Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
RCCA warns the driver of approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle when reversing. Even after the warning, if necessary, it applies emergency braking to prevent a collision.The system detects potential collisions with pedestrians, or other objects in your path, such as a vehicles on the left or right at an intersection. If a risk of collision persists, the system can automatically assist with braking or streering to help mitigate the impact.

19 minute charge is based on 800 V from ultra-rapid chargers (350 kW) . Actual charging time will vary and is dependent on a number of factors including battery temperature, condition and age, ambient temperature and the power provided by the charger. Charge time increases in cold weather and if battery temperature activates safeguarding technology.
The vehicle-to-load feature can only be used with battery life of 20% - 100%, and the maximum power consumption may vary depending on the electronic devices used.
The electric range shown was achieved using the WLTP test procedure. The Electrified GV70 is a battery electric vehicle requiring mains electricity for charging. Figures shown are for comparison purposes. Only compare fuel consumption, CO2 and equivalent electric range figures with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures.
