Design
THE GV60 SETS A NEW STANDARD FOR LUXURY ELECTRIC VEHICLES THAT REFLECT THE GENESIS DESIGN IDENTITY.
FRONT DESIGN
Beneath the distinctive clamshell bonnet sits the iconic Genesis quad lamps and crest grille. On this model, the grille has been lowered to accommodate the cooling of the high-performance electric powertrain.
REAR DESIGN
The GV60's coupé silhouette is streamlined from the bonnet to the distinctive rear spoiler. The shoulder volume of the rear bumper emphasises the vehicle’s purposeful stance. The distinctive, non-conformist chrome trim of the new GV60 wraps around the windscreen and flows towards the rear spoiler supporting the floating roof and connecting it with the C pillar. The chrome trim emphasises the GV60 as the most athletic, youthful character in the range, and is another gesture signalling that there are no rules or boundaries written in the EV era.
SIDE PROFILE
The GV60’s side profile is distinguished by it’s sleek and contemporary design. The sleek coupe silhouette ending with the unmistakable rear spoiler and the long wheelbase with short overhangs creates a unique performance aesthetic that dares to be audaciously different and unexpected. This is the new shape of future performance.
EXTERIOR
Beneath the distinctive clamshell bonnet sits the iconic Genesis quad lamps and crest grille. On this model the grille has been lowered, to accommodate the cooling of the high-performance electric powertrain.
Look closely at the emblem on the GV60 and you will notice that the crest is decorated with a detailed Guilloché pattern.1 Such superbly crafted and intricate detailing is more usually reserved for luxury watches.
The door handle sits sleekly within the side body contours until the driver approaches with a smart key. It then invites the driver to open the door, before returning flush again.
Interior
The interior design of the GV60 takes on Genesis’ design ethos of the ‘Beauty of White Space’, while seeking to create a spacious and comfortable interior. At the same time, its floating architecture and unique details are combined to create a unique look.
Crystal Sphere
The Crystal Sphere is not only distinctive but also a physical connection between the driver and the GV60. When the car is ready to drive the sphere rotates 180˚ to reveal the Shift By Wire controller.
Interior Details
The Floating Console is an intuitively designed technology hub that enhances the driver experience with ease and connectivity. The slimline airborne design maximises interior space and is core to the interior’s electric aesthetic
Introducing the connected car integrated Cockpit – whereby the infotainment cluster and navigation unify into one panoramic display for outstanding usability and a captivating sensory experience.
Comfortable Space
One of the luxuries of the GV60 design is enhanced passenger space, and this is superbly demonstrated in the substantial rear seats. The seats also recline for exceptional comfort, and fold 60:40 for added luggage space when needed.
The multi-folding luggage board can be adjusted to allow for easy storage and transportation of larger or unusually shaped items.
