ADVANCED DRIVER SAFETY FEATURES
FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE ASSIST (INTERSECTION ONCOMING AND CROSS TRAFFIC)1
Should the GV80 detect a risk of collision with a vehicle from the left or right of an intersection, it chimes a warning to the driver and automatically assists in braking, helping to improve reaction time and reduce the risk of a collision.
FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE ASSIST (EVASIVE STEERING ASSIST)2
To help reduce the risk of a forward collision with vehicles, pedestrians, or bicycles, the GV80 can actively steer way from any potential impact, and re-centre the vehicle in its lane once safe.
REAR SAFETY ASSIST
REAR CROSS-TRAFFIC COLLISION AVOIDANCE ASSIST
When reversing, GV80 Coupe is designed to detect the risk of collision with vehicles approaching from either side, warning the driver, and then automatically assisting with braking. 3
REAR COLLISION AVOIDANCE ASSIST
The GV80 Coupe automatically assists with braking if a risk of collision is detected when leaving a parallel parking space. Additionally, when changing lanes, it checks for vehicles in blind spots, and sends warning to the driver, as well as automatically assisting with braking to help prevent a collision if necessary.
HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST

The GV80 Coupe actively learns your driving habits and can assist in manoeuvring the vehicle to maximise safety. It is also able maintain a safe distance from the car in front, and assist in centring you in your lane while cornering.
NAVIGATION BASED SMART CRUISE CONTROL
Missed something? GV80 Coupe has your back, monitoring highway slopes, curves and speed limits using navigational data, and can automatically accelerate or slow down when required. 4

The GV80 Coupe is at home in a tight spot. It provides a 360-degree view so you can conveniently check your vehicle surroundings when driving or parking — and you can check the vehicle surroundings remotely via the MY GENESIS app⁵ when not in the vehicle.
REMOTE SMART PARKING ASSIST
Sometimes parking is easier from outside the car. Which is why you can automatically control the vehicle speed, gear select and steering remotely, helping you park and exit the vehicle from a easier angle.
Protection from Every Angle
10 AIRBAG SYSTEM
GV80 Coupe features an array of 10 airbags, with a first-row centre side airbag to help minimise potential clashes between the driver and passengers.
INTELLIGENT FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM
After dark, the GV80 Coupe’s intelligent front lighting system detects approaching vehicles and manipulates the high beam, partially turning off specific LEDs to ensure maximum visibility for you, as well as helping minimise the chance of startling oncoming drivers.
