Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP)
The GV60 is Genesis’ first vehicle to be built on the dedicated EV platform known as Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
Electronic Limited Slip Differential(e-LSD)
For the Performance AWD powertrain, two key upgrades are fitted vs the AWD powertrain.
The first is an electro-mechanical Limited Slip Differential fitted to the rear, able to electronically sense wheel slippage and activate a multi-clutch plate system to optimise stability and cornering performance, by shifting drive force between left and right wheels.
This offers drivers more stable control on slippery roads and in snowy or rainy weather.
Road Active Noise Control (ANC-R)
A virtually silent driving experience is achieved by a combination of sound-absorbing materials and technologies known as Road Active Noise Control (ANC-R). ANC-R produces inverted soundwaves, resulting in a reduction in road noise, ensuring each passenger gets a more relaxed experience.
VIRTUAL GEAR SHIFT (VGS)
For the Performance AWD powertrain, Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) will provide an additional level of driver engagement by allowing the paddles to be used to evoke a sequential shifting experience during enthusiastic driving.
Electronic Active Sound Design (e-ASD)
Taking the driving experience to a higher level of sensory immersion, Electronic Active Sound Design invites you the driver to enjoy virtual driving sounds based on the driving mode, the vehicle’s speed and accelerator pedal data. Choose from three sounds: a ‘Futuristic’ sound that symbolises the direction of future mobility; a soft and sporty ‘G-Engine’ tone that’s based on engine noises; and ‘E-Motor’ which reimagines the vehicle’s motor sound. You can explore detailed volume controls and pedal responses settings to create your own unique aural driving experience.
REGENERATIVE BRAKING CONTROL PADDLE SHIFT
The efficiency and driving pleasure of the GV60 is further enhanced by a steering wheel mounted paddle-shift from which you can control deceleration and regenerative braking easily.
Driving technology
Preview-ECS is technology that thinks ahead for you. By utilising road data and a front camera, the system adapts the suspension according to conditions. It also recognises potential impacts such as speed bumps and offers optimal riding comfort and stability.
Enables the driver to select a driving mode that suits the mood or the driving conditions ahead. Choose between Snow, Comfort, Eco and Sport, with each changing the vehicle's powertrain, steering, suspension, and powertrain settings.
