GENESIS GV60 SAFETY
Digital side mirrors give the driver added information via the camera and OLED monitor system including clear, wide viewing angles of the rear of the vehicle. Other cutting-edge assistance such as ‘Lane Change Assist Line Display’ and ‘Reverse Parking Screen Magnification’ further enhance the driver experience.3
Forward Collision Avoidance can detect possible dangers from other vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians, and can adjust the driver’s steering to help avoid a collision. If a side collision is detected as imminent at an intersection, the GV60 can automatically brake to help avoid or lessen any impact.3
When the driver indicates to change lanes, a warning is issued to alert of the risk of collision should another vehicle be detected alongside or in the blind spot. If the risk of collision increases even after warning, it can automatically control the vehicle to help avoid a collision. When exiting a parallel park, if a vehicle in the rear is detected while driving forward, it can automatically assist braking to reduce the risk of a collision.
When the driver uses the left or right indicator, the blind spot monitor showcases the blind spot on the instrument cluster.3
In the event of an accident, MCB can help to prevent a secondary collision. MCB can activate when a front/side collision is significant enough to results in the release of air bags. Following the release of air bags in a collision, the MCB feature can apply appropriate levels of braking to the wheels to assist with limiting further vehicle movement, thereby limiting the potential for a secondary collision.3

With RCCA, exiting a parking spot is much easier. When the GV60 is in reverse, rear sensors monitor vehicles and pedestrians approaching from the sides and rear. If a risk of collision is detected while reversing, RCCA provides a warning and will assist with emergency braking if the risk of collision increases.3
When the vehicle is backing up, this safety feature projects lights from rear LED guide lamps onto the road, alerting other vehicles and pedestrians to minimize the risk of accidents.

Using multiple LED’s with individual control, IFS allows the high beams to remain on, turning off individual LED’s in a cascade sequence that will avoid dazzling preceding or oncoming vehicles, whiles retaining high beam light to the rest of the road.
This can be of significant advantage when driving in the country, and can help to illuminate animals or other hazards on the side of the road.3
If a vehicle is detected approaching from the rear while you are parked, the rear seat child lock will engage so an alighting passenger won’t accidentally step into moving traffic.1,3

This is a brilliant aid for families with children as it can detect the presence of rear passengers and reminds the driver before exiting the vehicle.1
GV60 has a total of 10 airbags, including rear side airbags, providing additional protection for rear-seat passengers.
Step out of the driver seat and let your GV60 park for you—literally. Whether it’s pulling forward into a tight space or sliding itself into a nearly impossible parallel spot with the press and hold of a button, you can stand aside while GV60 intelligently parks itself.1,4
SVM uses cameras mounted across the vehicle assists the driver when parking. Providing a view of your surroundings for easier and more confident parking.1

1 Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) can help park the vehicle. However, several factors can impact RSPA performance. RSPA may not function correctly if one or more of the parking sensors is damaged, dirty or covered or if weather conditions (heavy rain, snow or fog) are interfering with the sensor operation. Always inspect the parking area with your own eyes.
2 Digital side mirrors – optional extra.
