Markham, Ontario, Oct. 6, 2022 — Genesis Motors Canada reveals packaging and pricing for the 2023 Electrified G80 Prestige. Priced at $105,000, the Electrified G80 continues Genesis’ commitment towards a more sustainable future with the brand planning a fully electrified lineup by 2030. The new model is now available across the country.

Available in a single fully appointed configuration, the 2023 Electrified G80 Prestige delivers a bold new take on G80 design, paired with a refined and serene driving experience. The exterior strikes a perfect balance of athleticism and elegance. The signature crest grille has evolved with a unique G-Matrix pattern incorporating an integrated charging port.

Additional new features of the Electrified G80 include exclusive 19” wheels and a unique rear bumper execution. The interior continues a more sustainable eco-friendly leather and fabric along with available forged wood trim throughout the cabin. Electrified G80 brings a new exterior colour option to the Genesis palette in Matira Blue and a new interior treatment highlighted by Dark Lagoon Green/Glacier White.

The 87.2kWh battery found in Electrified G80 is capable of Rapid Charging from 10-80% in just 22 minutes when utilizing 350kW (800V) DC fast charging. Charging rate and time estimate varies based on several factors, including current battery charge level, output of the charging unit, vehicle and battery settings and outside temperature. All Electric Range (AER) is rated at 454 km. Powered by a 136 kW electric motor in both the front and rear, total output is 272 kW (365 hp) and 516 lb.-ft. of torque.  

Safety is a top priority at Genesis, and the Electrified G80 comes equipped with the brand’s Highway Driving Assist suite of safety and driver assistance features as standard equipment. A complimentary subscription to Genesis Connected Services allows owners to stay connected with a suite of digital applications and remote services that provide convenience and confidence.

Convenient at-home product demonstrations and an easy-to-use online ordering platform are complemented by one, negotiation-free, all-inclusive set price - meaning no additional associated fees. The G80 Prestige’s all-inclusive price not only contains complimentary five year/100,000 km scheduled maintenance and updates for multimedia and navigation with optional valet service pick-up and drop-off, but also a courtesy vehicle and complimentary enrollment in the five-year 24/7 Roadside Assistance program.

Guests will be able to choose whether they test drive, acquire, and service their new G80 at their home or place or business, or one of the new Genesis Retail Experience (GRX) Centres if they prefer. The construction and opening of these facilities marks a major milestone in the evolution of the Genesis omni-channel business model, furthering the brand’s commitment to delivering a class-above customer experience across every area of the business.

Genesis Retail Experience Centres provide consumers with access to a fulsome, flexible experience, allowing them to freely transition between online and in-person services based on their preference. All transactions will continue to be completed online and the Genesis at Home suite of services, from at-home test drives to valet service, will all remain available.

The 2023 Genesis G80 Prestige AWD is being offered at $105,000 including freight and delivery, with a $1,700 surcharge for matte paint selections.
