The tournament was dedicated to supporting those affected by the recent wildfires in Southern California. LUDVIG ÅBERG SNATCHES IMPRESSIVE VICTORY
Ludvig Åberg captures his second PGA TOUR win with a brilliant birdie streak at the 2025 Genesis Invitational. Åberg scored a total of 19 birdies and two eagles, one of which being a hole-in-one, raising $16,000 for the “Birdies for Good” donation pledge sponsored by Genesis. This marks Åberg’s third worldwide win, making him fourth in the world and one to keep an eye on.
MAKING MOMENTS THAT MATTER
BIRDIES FOR GOOD
To raise funds for affected communities and first responders, Genesis donated $300 for every birdie or eagle and $10,000 for every hole-in-one toward the donation pledge goal. PGA TOUR pros further amplified the impact by pledging their own contributions.
AN ARTISTIC TRIBUTE
Over the course of the tournament, street artist Jonas Never painted an inspiring tribute to his beloved home of California. Golf fans who attended the event received a limited-edition print as a symbol of hope and renewal.
POSTCARDS FROM THE TEE
Golf fans shared their support and appreciation for first responders and firefighters by writing heartfelt handwritten postcards. The gestures of appreciation were a simple yet powerful way to remind them that we stand together in this time of recovery.
A TOURNAMENT WITH PURPOSE
REBUILDING OUR COMMUNITYGenesis Invitational partnered with the PGA TOUR and TGR Live to sponsor a charitable initiative called California Rises. As part of this, Genesis donated $8 million, including 100 tournament vehicles and cash contributions to support fire fighters, first responders and rebuild access to arts education and music programs through the Genesis Inspiration Foundation. Join our efforts in supporting these charitable organizations.
