The J.D. Power 2020 Initial Quality Study (IQS)* is the industry benchmark for new-vehicle quality. The study measures components that fail and features that are difficult to use. We’re proud that the Genesis G70 received the lowest rate of reported problems among compact premium cars for the second consecutive year.
IIHS tests are based on two essential criteria: how well a vehicle protects its occupants in the unfortunate event of a crash and technology that can prevent a crash or lessen its severity. So, we are pleased that the 2020 G70 excels in these areas and has been named an IIHS Top Safety Pick+* for vehicles built after December 2019.
